movie meme from several on my fl

A. Pick 16 of your favorite movies.
B. Then pick one of your favorite quotes from each movie.
C. Post the quotes in your journal.
D. Have those on your friends list try to guess what the movie is.
E. Mark the quote once it has been correctly identified and place the guesser's user name directly after the quote.

(Edit: I'm doing 10, not 16.)

1. Say Anything, of course.
6. Labyrinth

And I just don't have enough time to think about the rest. Back to work.

I'm glad you were the one to get #1. :-) I know how much we both like that movie.

#9 - Pretty Woman?

[identity profile] ladyperegrine.livejournal.com 2006-07-28 05:30 pm (UTC)(link)
No, but good guess. Right idea, wrong movie.

8. When Harry Met Sally, the best romantic comedy of all time.

There must be a variant of 7 in another movie, because I know I've heard something like it before but the movie that comes up on Google is one I've never seen before. (Either that, or they used the clip in some context where I wouldn't have associated it with the movie, such as the "Years of Great Movies" trailers they sometimes put on DVDs.)

The only one I recognized and could put in context was 2, which was already guessed.

Is 7 Searching for Bobby Fischer?

4 is The Lion King?

[identity profile] indicoyote.livejournal.com 2006-07-28 06:19 pm (UTC)(link)
4. Lion King
7. Searching for Bobby Fischer

Though I'm sure those are both in other movies too, so I dunno if those are what you're looking for. :o)

Would n° 4 be Spirit, Stallion of the Cimarron ? (or whatever the real title is in english ?)

Would no. 5 be "Home for the Holidays"? :D

I always loved that line from Labyrinth, too.

Funny, Searching for Bobby Fischer was the first thing I thought of when I saw #7, but I didn't think the boy had actually said it.
