Last night I went out to Olympia's again. I'm starting to feel more comfortable with the idea of staring at beautiful women dancing--which is a good thing, because there were two at our table in addition to the two actually dancing for the restaurant. :-) [livejournal.com profile] rowyn and [livejournal.com profile] moonwolf tried to teach me some of their moves, but I was feeling kind of quiet and subdued and self-consciousness kicked in.

Argh. My mom called and now I'm running late. More later... :-) I'm going to her house, where we're going to eat lunch at a healthy restaurant, shop and hang out. Later, my stepdad's going to cook a vegetarian supper for us. :-D

*smiles* I don't mind staring at women. They are so much prettier to watch. Men just look silly, and if they are dancing, they also usually look full of themselves. ;)

I don't know--I've seen some awesome male dancers. Of course, that was in a gay club. :-P

I pretty much like eye candy in all flavors. But I'm shy about staring at girls dancing, unless I know for sure that they don't mind (and sometimes even then).

I tend to see it as a small form of worship. To watch with appreciative eyes, to adore, to behold something beautiful and perfect in it's motion in that moment, to take it as a gift... The dancer becomes a being who commands attention and deserves it.

I dunno, I have strange views on these things. ^_^
