I can't believe I forgot to post this...Dave has officially been promoted to a director position and so our move to NC is postponed for a couple of years. It's not a huge increase in salary--but it is a small (3%) increase, and more importantly it's recognition for all of the hard work he's done and continues to do. I'm excited to see him move into a more leadership-oriented position. He's very good at navigating tough situations and making good decisions; he's strong and supportive of the people who work for him, too, while also supportive of new strategies initiated by the COs. So...I think he's a good fit for the job, and I hope they know what they have in him.
