post-Thanksgiving parting

Getting ready to leave my in-laws' house. I'm kind of ready to be back in my normal environment, though it has been a really good visit. My brother-in-law came down from New Hampshire, which is cool. He's the closest thing I have to an older brother, and I like him a lot.

I am suffering from chat withdrawal. If anyone's reading this, you could text me on my cell phone for free. Just go to my lj user page. I would feel soo loved. :-D

The novel is coming along, sort of. 1200 words on Thanksgiving, a bit shy but I am cutting myself some slack. 2000 for yesterday (Friday), though some of that was finished up at 2am this morning.

D is going to give me some writing time when we get home, hopefully. Yay!

Problem is it (the story) won't be done at 50,000, but that's my first and most immediate goal. I'll push for slow yet steady progress on the rest of it after November 30th.

I feel like this is all I talk about. But that will all change as of December 1st. I think. :-D
