I just had some freaky neurological symptoms today at about 2pm (total loss of feeling on the right side of my body and some other minor symptoms) and ended up at the doctor's office. It's unofficially diagnosed as low blood sugar and/or dehydration brought on by, umm, exercising in the heat w/o eating breakfast. Yeah, so it's not the smartest thing I've ever done.

Anyway, they're doing a CAT scan of my brain just to be sure everything's okay up there.

I'm a little nervous but staying positive and hoping for the best.

Edit: Thanks for everyone's good wishes. After a hot lavender&epsomsalt bath and a nap and some Eggo waffles (comfort food), I'm feeling a bit more like my old self.

And no, nothing like that's ever happened to me before.

Now I'm wondering if it was just a classic migraine. I have a history of those.

See here: http://www.wrongdiagnosis.com/m/migraine/symptoms.htm under 'aura.'

And, yeah, I know I don't have a medical degree or anything. But considering the later symptoms felt exactly like a migraine...as well as the morning after feeling today...

That would be good. Very good.

I'm just going to go with that unless the CAT scan tells me otherwise later. I don't know when the x-ray will be yet, but I'll post here when I know more.

Thanks for everyone's support.
