...who is trying to twist-tie the parachute of the parachute guy to the little man's back, in hopes that he can rig it so that the 'chute will remain closed, but then pop open as needed, once he tosses the guy 'out'?

Please bear in mind that the twist-tie and the string often become hopelessly tangled, and that it is the job of said child's mother to untangle them perfectly so that the child can start the entire process all over again.

Because, you see, it is not okay to just leave the parachute open.

Parachutes are supposed to open and close.
