Thanksgiving

Today is David's birthday. I'm thankful for Dave!

I'm thankful for my two beautiful children, for my family, and for all of my friends. I'm thankful for my parents (all four) and for Dave's parents. I'm thankful for my maternal grandma, who's been in my mind and heart this morning. I'm thankful for being understood on a regular basis by my soulfriend.

I'm thankful to be in Asheville right now, for meeting a new friend yesterday. I'm thankful for story. I'm thankful for my brain, despite its issues with serotonin.

I'm thankful for spirit, for love, for the beauty holding the world together. Not the superficial kind of beauty, but the soul-touching kind. The beauty of a wrinkled face.

I'm thankful for my 11th grade typing teacher.
