Today I feel so fortunate. Here (for some value of 'here') there are snuggly friends who buoy my spirits, spirited kids who challenge me to grow and become more than I ever thought I could be, a husband who supports me and does his best to understand me and nurture this partnership we have together, and shaterri, who defies categorization but is no less beloved for that.

Thank you, life. Oh, if only this feeling, this sense of richness, could stay. I am so immeasurably lucky, and I forget it far too often.
