daily gratitude

Today I am grateful for the stainless steel flatware of my grandmother's that my mom recently gave to me. It's beautiful - simple, clean lines with one dainty rose carved into the stem of each piece. My grandma only used it for special occasions, but I don't think she would mind if I use it every day. It makes me think of her and wraps me close in memory and love.
