magnifelyn, who consistently describes my own emotional states better than I do: http://magnifelyn.livejournal.com/669547.html.
I am behind on listing joys.
Ellie brings me joy. Yesterday, she said, "I know what a poem is, Mama. A poem is a blessing!"
Homemade carrot cake with cream cheese icing given as a birthday gift has been a huge joy this week.
Shopping at a used bookstore on December 3rd (before we knew about the money crisis and I had my emotional meltdown) brought joy as well as some inexpensive holiday gifts. :-) For those of you who know about my Coldplay addiction, I bought one of their CDs for $2!! (Happy birthday to me.)
Friends who love me - including those here - bring me so much joy that I'm speechless at the mere thought of it.
eta: not really so far behind, just brain dead. Yes, you've seen those last two somewhere before... ;-)
