(no subject)

I saw the psychiatrist today. It went well; I like him, and we have a plan in place. I'm going to taper off Zoloft and start on Effexor XR. Effexor's worked well for me in the past, though the withdrawal (aka discontinuation syndrome) on it was horrible (I had to quit cold turkey when I found out I was pregnant with Ellie. Not fun.)

But the psychiatrist went over why he thinks it will be a good choice for me. He was very present with me and very thorough about the intake. And...I feel good knowing there's a plan.

So. We'll see how it goes from here, I guess.
