Remember when I was writing in this post about severe stomach pain and a number of you wrote in to say it sounded like gallstones and I should go to the doctor immediately?

You were right.

Home now, after a short stay at the hospital and emergency gallbladder removal. So far recovery seems to be going as expected - I'm having some pain, but I have medication for it, and I'm trying to take it easy and not do too much.

This has been some week.
