which weirdness?
Oct. 12th, 2008 11:33 pmWe were all out in the backyard this evening when a man walked by and gave us a very odd, almost disparaging look. I couldn't decide why. The obvious choices are as follows:
a) We were in the middle of building a decidedly non-kosher sukkah (due to area/construction constraints - it was under a tree and had some creative support going on).
b) Both kids were sitting on top of the privacy wall, Daniel without a shirt on.
c) We had an Obama for President sign sitting up on top of that same privacy wall.
I wonder if it was the sum total of all of them that did him in. ;-) Dave thinks it was the Obama sign. I think it was the strange shack we were constructing.

I've been doing quite a bit of volunteering for the campaign. It feels fun, and like I'm being productive in ways I haven't been in a long while. Overall I really like it. Anyone who's a supporter and wonders if it's too late to volunteer...it's *not*, at least in Florida. Everyone is welcome.

I have a lot more to write about, but for now...sleep. I hope.
