Card: 9 of Pentacles

The first thing I notice is all of the food laid out before the viewer (me).


Describing the Image: There is an empty plate with an elaborate place setting directly in front of the viewer. There are 9 pentacles on the plate. Directly behind that is a a big spread of food, most of it cheeses, crackers, fruit, bread, wine. The table stretches out far and seems long, and the part we can see ends with a floral arrangement with a glimpse of desserts on the other side of it.

Shapes - lots of circles and cylinders
Symbols and Meaning - wheat and food, sustenance, reference to the Empress; pomegranates, reference to High Priestess


This card makes me feel hopeful.


It reminds me of potluck events.
