Heh, I know how to sew and you don't really save that much, in my experience. By the time you buy the fabric and notions and pattern you're almost approaching what you'd pay for the finished garment at somewhere like Target anyway, and then it's a question of how much time you actually have to make the garment and how much that time is worth to you. Thrift stores are way cheaper. :)
