So an LJ friend, porcelain72, created this music meme. And I thought it was quite a nifty idea and others on my flist started participating too.

Though when I looked at it, it seemed overwhelming. Particularly day one.

And then I realized that I don't have to pick for All Time. I can just pick each day, in that moment.

So here's my favorite song, for today, right now. Tomorrow, or even this afternoon, it might be something different. And that's okay. :-)

This song is from the Stand Alone Complex Solid State Society soundtrack. I have no idea what that means. :-) I haven't watched the anime, but shaterri gave me the soundtrack and I love it. I'm kind of afraid to watch the show because then I couldn't give the songs their own meanings.

This one...is gentle and wistful, lush and simple at the same time.
