Well, I've officially finished NaPoeWriMo, 30 poems in 30 days.

I feel pretty accomplished, and at the same time I'm trying to work out what the next step will be. Will I continue to write every day? Will I continue to write a poem a day? This pace seemed a bit hectic, if fun.

Either way, doing it was definitely worthwhile.

Thanks to shaterri, and earthsister for participating too; a huge thanks and shout-out should go to jakebe for organizing the whole thing. Meeting new livejournal friends during the month like lazarusrat was great too.

Other news: the visit with my in-laws went very well. It's wonderful to have a clean house now (with the exception of the kids' room)--the trick is keeping it that way.

I managed a nap today but am groggy after waking.
