it's time to feel good!
Jul. 15th, 2004 11:06 amSo...I'm sitting here listening to foxmagic's 'sun' radio blog...and it's great! Very upbeat, happy music. Thanks for posting it, foxie.
(The only thing I'd probably 86 would be Katrina & The Waves, but that's only b/c i listened to that song waaay too much in the 80's.)
I'm feeling much better than the last time I wrote. Some cool things going on. Robotmonster told me about this website (http://www.plicity.org) with a poetry ezine. I'm having fun exploring the boards, writing poems, critiquing poems...it's great. It feels like an online home away from home. I feel so grateful for the warm welcome I've received there from robot and his wife, L.
Also, my friend AK (real life friend) has invited me to join her witchy pagan group that meets weekly. D and I managed to tweak our schedules enough to allow me to participate. So, I'm waiting to hear back from AK (she has to run it by the other members of the group). I feel like this could be a good step both spiritually and socially if it works out.
Online I've been staying away from lit and the MUCKs and pretty much everyplace except msn messenger, though i'm considering getting trillian (sp?) just so i can keep up with my non-gates-lovin'friends (that would be me as well, actually, though i'm still in bed with microsoft b/c that's where all d's tech experience is). Anyway, I keep trying to stay in the real world as best I can. I think that's just better all the way around. It also explains why I haven't been updating my blog as much lately.
S. is still my friend...it turns out I was just being a goof. Surprise surprise. :-D But that's...really good. :-) Not good that I'm a goof, good that S. is still on the online radar (one of the few still there, rofl.)
I guess that's all for now. I need to go check on my girl (I'm not hearing anything, and any parent will tell you that could be a very bad sign) and also keep groovin' to foxmagic's music. :-D
Happy Thursday!
