"We've all uttered lines that made perfect sense in context, but which made passers-by raise eyebrows or burst out in hysterical laughter at our expense. This meme is a tribute to the unintentionally funny things we say every day to our families or friends.
"Post a sentence in your journal that fits the criteria above, but do not tell anyone what the context was in which it was uttered. The people on your friends list have to suggest a context for the sentence you post - and the funnier, the better. When the ensuing hilarity has died down a bit, feel free to post the actual context - especially if it, too, is side-splittingly humorous.
