I'm always surprised
by claimed ineptitude.
Your mind scampers
avidly along branching paths
while mine sweats, stumbles,
stops to catch its breath.
I wonder if you
just think you should
improve everything.
"I wish I were better at this,"
you'd breathe,
grazing my neck with teeth
that tease, a tongue that laps
upon the milk of my skin, sweet.
And should I leap to reassure?
Or close your mouth by pressing mine against it,
hard, wild, esurient.
Come on,
I'd think,
Just show me
how bad
you can be.
