falcongrrlYesterday only got worse, with extra kids at preschool and the cat scratching the five-year-old who then ran around screaming at the top of his lungs while the almost two-year-old wailed like a banshee for unspecified reasons. Dave was at EPCOT so I had both kids to myself all evening, and my preschool coworkers weren't there either. Lot of me taking care of a lot of kids yesterday.
Except for chatting (just chatting, mind you) midday, which was very fun. :-D
Excerpt from yesterday:
Five year old: Star's claws dived into my skin like a spoon scooping out soup.
Pretty cool, huh? He's already using both simile and hyperbole. (We're working on the irregular verbs, although I think 'dived' may be an acceptable variant.)
Anyway, today is shaping up to be a better day. We have friends coming over for dinner, so I have tons o' stuff to get done, but it should be fun. I got good sleep last night, and have been dancing around to my *own* music for most of the morning.
Equilibrium is a good thing. At least, I've heard it is. Or maybe I just read it someplace.

Okay, going for now and being productive-ish. I may be back later. I feel like emoting today. Will try to use lj-cuts though, just in case the rest of you have something approximating lives... :-D
