It's 4:30 am; I've been up since 3:30 am, and didn't go to bed initially until well after twelve, maybe even closer to one. D is out of town, and my daughter's wide awake.

I'm really hitting a wall here. With my head. No, kidding, it's not that bad. But I don't know what to do. I need sleep so much.

My sanity is hinging upon the fact that if I can get them to preschool early, say 8am, then I can go home and sleep at least 3-4 hours, maybe longer. That's if I can get myself to sleep; lately that part's been difficult, even when I'm tired.

The weekend was busy but good. The concert was decent Thurs. night, and the company was even better. Had an ok visit with D's parents Friday, drove back, celebrated family (kids') Samhain at a party at the park Sat. afternoon. D went to a work retreat thingy and will be back Tues. The kids and I went to church yesterday, vegged out most of yesterday afternoon and evening. Not sure how much anyone can veg with two preschoolers about, but we didn't go out or anything, just stayed around home.

If Dave were here, he'd be getting up in a little bit and I could trade off with him, getting a few more hours, anyway.

Ah well. I'll make it through.

A+

Mel didn't want to go to bed either, but luckily Kenny stayed up with her. It was after 12 when I went to bed, and I have no idea what time he crawled in. And then she was up at 6am when I left for work. Bleh. Don't these kids need sleep??? WHERE do they get all this energy?? Oh yeah, energy vampires. ;)

hang in there

Christi, I hope things get better soon.

Friends (afsc) had the "eyes wide open" exhibit at UCF today and I thought of you and your war is not the answer bumper sticker.

I hate being that tired. I hope you can get some sleep ... and I hope your kids can learn to sleep responsibly, too.
