eta: It's been moved to April - sorry about that. We now return you to your regularly scheduled journal. :-)

So...the NaPoe community is pretty quiet, and I'm trying to decide if I want to continue the 30 poems in 31 days tradition for January.

My thought is that I may do it, but here, and I'll make a separate NaPoeWriMo filter for it.

If I decide to go that route, please let me know if you want to be on the filter or not. The thing is - i usually post only the better poems of the month here, so most of you (other than the NaPoe people on my list) have not seen the dreck I can come up with. Though, umm, ymmv - you've all probably seen some of that here anyway. :-D Anyway, I can write a lot of crappy poetry in a month. So if you opt out, I totally don't mind.

Another thought I have is that I'll do some sort of placeholder post each morning, and the first person to answer that post gets to give me a subject or form or both for the poem, or a word or line, and then I'll go from there. Would you guys actually be up for something like that? If I do that, then I might not filter the poems, but I will put them behind cuts to spare some of you.

Thoughts? Beuller?

Do they realize that April is Script Frenzy? Or are they assuming that very few poets write scripts as well?

Well, it's also National Poetry Month. I don't know; I think that any month will have pluses and minuses. Mostly, I need to jumpstart myself into writing more, with or without a special event for it.

And I have ideas - it's a matter of making the time, taking the time, to carry them out.
