The good news is that I had so many cool quotes I couldn't just stop at outlining the head. The bad news is I'm only halfway through the body. I can just start over and redo the same quotes...but if anyone has more cool quotes now that you've had more time to think about it, I can still use them! Thanks! :-D

eta: Also, even if you don't know a quote but can post the title of a robot movie or robot character, I can google or search imdb. Thanks so much for any help you can provide. I'll post the results on flickr.

"Johnny Five alive!" "No disassemble!" - 5, "Short Circuit"

"Don't tell Bonnie. She worries." - KITT, "Knight Rider"

"Freedom is the right of all sentient beings." - Optimus Prime, "(the) Transformers"

I'll have to take a look at my Scud: Disposable Assassin books when I get home, I know he had a lot of pithy quotables.

There's the old Hanna-Barbera Jetsons cartoon. That ought to be good for a robot quote or two.

Or the series Lost in Space -- some great (campy) quotes here: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0058824/quotes

I don't know if the robot actually says anything (in the trailer, at least), but there's Pixar's upcoming Wall-e.

And there was that movie with Robin Williams--Bicentennial Man. That was based on an Asimov story, I think, but you might get more variety with a Hollywood version.

http://www.wetherobots.com/ (a robot web comic) (I like this one: http://www.wetherobots.com/2007/11/19/the-great-recycle-of-life/)

There was also a cartoon movie with a child who meets a robot that's some sort of weapon, and they become friends--I can't remember the name of the movie. At the end the robot intercepts a missile and saves everyone. Yikes! If you can figure out what I'm talking about, there might be some gems. :)

Finally, because they're cute,

Found a couple on ThinkExist.com, too:

“Spirit is our tough, hardworking robot. Opportunity looks like she just came off the showroom floor, clean and pretty.”
