Ellie, on the wii:

You can do things that people really do in this game!

(Okay, I'm really wondering why on earth we don't just go to the bowling alley now...)

Well, for starters, the Wii remote doesn't chew my thumbnails all to bits like bowling balls tend to. :)

Yeah, and it's hard to get access to a bowling alley, tennis court, and boxing ring all at the same time. :-) Her comment was still funny, though.

And I love your icon - so pretty and wistful.

Yeah and 2 rounds of bowling for 6 people plus a pitcher of drinks (one drink each!) and some popcorn runs $75 here!

You know, that's a good point...I keep thinking about how the wii is really expensive...but when you look at prices like that for bowling, or how much a gym membership is...

*goes off to do some more rationalizing*

Actually, Wii bowling is *awesome* for small kids, because it's got the excitement and the coordination, but not the weight of the ball, which is a limiting factor for them.
