Sep. 23rd, 2008 03:23 pmDaniel's reasons for moving to Canada:
1. it's a peaceful country
2. it has the best maple syrup in the world
3. it's the bear capital of the world and he likes bears
Ellie wants to move all around the world to meet all of the animals and then come back to her house where I am taking care of her pets for her.

Date: 2008-09-23 08:56 pm (UTC)Just to be clear - I made the post because Daniel started talking about Canada out of the blue, and I thought his comments were cute/funny. But there is a part of me that really does want to investigate it - Canada seems saner politically (though I know it has its own issues too) and just generally a place more in line with our values. Plus, I speak French. :-)
Anyway, thanks so much for your offer to help; we'll definitely keep it in mind. :-)

Then again, if you wanted to qualify as a teacher again and try your hand at primary/junior, you'd be a shoo-in if you had French qualifications.
