'I've been thrilled [...] of the work you're doing'? What kind of grammar is that? Sheesh, you'd think he could at least master the language. :-)
Seriously, it is absolutely amazing what you've been doing, and I'm really hoping that it all pays off in the end. I really do have a ton of hope, though, and you're a big part of that.
My eldest has been working at his local Obama office too, and during his call last night was working to ensure we vote. Early. :>
I haven't done anything but talk to people individually, and attend the rally on the 20th (babysitting so I could attend with middlest boychild was part of my birthday present this year.)
Again, I'm definitely proud and happy you, gizmogoblin and all yall're doing what you're doing, lady. Thank you.
Heartening things I've seen lately: * Republicans for Obama signs * Obama "Change We Need" signs in Kweyole * Homemade Obama signs on houses * my youngest, upon my returning home after the rally, seeing the Tshirt I bought from a Parramore neighborhood guy (we were walking the same trajectory from the Citrus Bowl to the Arena)pointing and saying with happy recognition, "That's Barack Obama!" (Turns out he's a Joe Biden fan, actually. I told him that if enough people vote for Obama, he'll be vice president, which made him happy.)
