So I woke up just a little while ago and I figured before going back to bed I would listen to this mix CD I'm compiling and see how the songs sound together so far, which transitions need work, etc.

So I'm sitting here, headphones on, eyes closed, really absorbing the music, moving to the beat, just enjoying.

And then I notice that Dave's up. And he's, umm, he's trying to get my attention. And he's...well, he's giggling.

See, before listening through the headphones when someone's sleeping in the bedroom with you...

...it's really good to make sure that the external speakers are turned off. And not blasting. No matter how cool your mix is.

Dave? Was woken out of a sound sleep by Loreena McKennitt and/or A Fine Frenzy. And just giggled at me.

He's a good man, this man of mine. :-)

I once started whistling at random, which I do at home when the only folks around are those accustomed to such...

...forgetting that I'd accidentally left Ventrilo running and my microphone on.

Fortunately, only one other person was there. I apologised, and he shrugged it off, saying that at least I was a decent whistler. Still... I was all embarrassed.
