Sister Martha

Sister Martha Mayham will no longer be posting in this livejournal.
An initial perusal of its contents suggests that Sister Martha was regularly entering disassociative states in which she believed herself to be the mother of two children, a five-year-old and two-year-old, and the wife of a man referred to as 'D.' (whose age was not disclosed.)
It appears as if Sister Martha, in her most recent entries, had reclaimed her actual life and vocation within these posts. However, unfortunately it appears as if her disassociative states have been worsening, along with her grip upon reality.
We at the Poor Clare Monastery would like to stress that Sister Martha's condition is most likely due to a genetic defect. We have no reason to believe that it would have been caused or exacerbated by life within our monastery. In fact, we have reason to believe that the tranquil atmosphere here enabled her disease to remain dormant for as long as it did.
In any case, I feel certain that she would welcome your prayers for her healing. I will refer any comments posted here to her, once the psychiatrist in charge of her care assures me that it is safe to do so.
Thank you for your friendship of her...persona.
In the future, if she were to reappear, you might not want to encourage her; or, at least, remain aware that she may not be all that she appears.
Thank you, and may the Father bless and keep you all within His mighty Hand.
Sincerely,
Sister Christina
