Card: 4 of Swords
Deck: Shadowscape
The first thing I notice is the pink flowers and how I like the blending of the pink and gold in the background.
Describing the Image: A figure with long blond hair garbed in a white diaphanous material - that looks almost like a bedsheet wound around her - is floating in the air. She is holding a sword along the center of her body. Three other swords are over her and winding through her hair a bit, almost as pillows. A spiral golden sun shines behind her. Pink flowers are floating in the air with her, and the one closest to the foreground has a few petals blowing away. There is a bird resting on the white material.
Colors, Shapes, Symbols, Background:
Colors - pink, purple, gold, lavender
Shapes - points on the sword, s curve of the woman's robes, spiral shape of the sun
Symbols - flowers, bird, swords, sun
Background - a wash of colors - there is no earth to ground the figure.
This card makes me feel peaceful.
It reminds me of lying in bed with a baby on my chest (instead of a sword)
The energy of this card is a respite.
I could use this card's energy today by resting on a deep level, not physical rest but emotional rest
KEYWORDS: rest
Website: Solitude and rest from strife, inner contemplation, exile.
