Jan. 2nd, 2021 01:18 pmCard: Reversed Devil
Deck: Fifth Spirit

The first thing I notice is the large neon star, which is right-side-up when the image is reversed.
Describing the Image: Large hands are above two humans that appear to be controlled by puppet strings. One is a woman in heels and an apron and dress clutching an overflowing (and spilling) glass of red wine. The other is a man wearing dress shoes and a suit with a cigar in his mouth and his hand outstretched for a handshake. Their feet are extended at odd angles. A large upside down neon red star is above them.
Colors, Shapes, Symbols and Meaning, Background:
Colors - red, blue, tan, black
Shapes - upside-down pentagram, rectangular figures
Symbols and meaning - upside-down pentagram - Satanism, puppet-strings - being controlled, cigar, wine - addiction
This card makes me feel like I don't want to be like those people.
It reminds me of Stepford Wives, misogyny
The energy of this card says not to be controlled by societal "norms" and to cut the strings free.
I could use this card's energy today by embracing my unconventionality and resisting pressure to conform or to engage in addictive behaviors
KEYWORDS: Oppression, dependence, destructive indulgence, harmful behaviors/thoughts/beliefs
LWB: "It's time to cut the strings."
